Grayson, a lifelong resident of Hanover County has been in private practice in since 1975 with offices in Ashland from 1975-1991 and in Rockville since 1980. He has served as Treasurer, Secretary, and President of the Hanover Bar Association, as a member of the Hanover County Planning Commission, and, among numerous other professional roles, he has served multiple terms as Representative for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit on the Virginia State Bar Council, which is the governing body for all lawyers in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He has also qualified in court as an expert on real estate matters and testified in Hanover Circuit Court. Beyond his professional involvement, he has been heavily involved in service projects benefitting the local community, including work with youth sports and as a board member of the Rockville School Park Foundation.
